  • The song Dat Hätz vun der Welt brings the band the first Närrische Oscar presented every year by the Cologne boulevard paper Express and indeed in silver.
  • De Höhner change the record company and their discs now will be released by EMI Electrola in Cologne.
  • The album Ich bin ne Räuber appears.

• 1983
  • The Rote Funken give De Höhner for the song Dat Hätz vun der Welt the Orden "för et beste kölsche Leed".
  • De Höhner receive the Närrische Oscar in silver.
  • The album Ich ben ne Räuber ranks high in the German schlagerhitparade of Hitexpress.
  • De Höhner release the album Schlawiner.

• 1984
  • De Höhner get the Närrische Oscar in bronze.
  • De Höhner are portrayed in their clown costumes on the orden of the Kajuja.
  • The album Op Jöck is released.

• 1985
  • De Höhner receive the Närrische Oscar in bronze.
  • The song Echte Fründe brings De Höhner the Rote-Funken-Orden "för et beste kölsche Leed" this year.

• 1986
  • Peter Horn wants to leave the band; Henning Krautmacher is willing to succeed him
  • The album 10 Jahre Stimmung us Kölle appears. On this album Henning Krautmacher as well as Peter Horn can be heared.

• 1987

  
  During the carnival 6 Höhner give performances, when Henning Krautmacher comes to the band.

  • Peter Horn leaves De Höhner definitively.
  • The clown costumes disappear into the moth-box for ever after the carnival.
  • The band simplifies the bandname another time and wants only to be called Höhner.
  • The album Für Dich is released.

The band again has 5 members: F. M. Willizil, Peter Werner, Henning Krautmacher, Janus Fröhlich and Gunter Steinig.

• 1988
  • The Rote Funken give Höhner the Orden "för et beste kölsche Leed" for the song Dat ahle Hus.
  • Höhner gets presented the Närrische Oscar in silver
  • The album Guck mal appears.

• 1989
  • The Närrische Oscar in silver has been presented to the Höhner again.
  • Höhner releases the album Wenn's Dir gut geht. The song Nase vorn has been dedicated to the kids. All revenues of this song go to Unicef, United Nations Children's Fund.

• 1990
  • Höhner receives the Närrische Oscar in bronze this year.
  • Bass player Günter Steinig leaves Höhner; Hannes Schöner, who already sang in the background choir on the last 3 albums, will take his place.
  • Höhner releases the album Leider gut.

F.M. Willizil, Peter Werner, Henning Krautmacher, Janus Fröhlich and Hannes Schöner constitute the band Höhner.
